QiGong – Moving Meditation

QiGong is an ancient Chinese practice that promotes health, mindfulness, and inner peace. During this class, students will explore relaxation techniques that reduce stress and improve awareness. These lessons will include breathing exercises plus slow, simple movements, seated or standing, suitable for people of all ages.

Tai Chi – Yang Style for Beginners

March 26th to May 21st

10:00 AM to 11:00 AM

NO CLASS ON APRIL 2ND

This is an introduction to the ancient art of Tai Chi. Complete mind and body training, which implements soft and gentle exercises, aims to improve balance, posture, endurance, and relaxation. Throughout the session, students will be introduced to the principles and guidelines of Tai Chi, starting with basic movements and progressing to more intricate patterns, including the Tai Chi Fundamentals® Original Program.

Spring Session 2024 - Thursdays Tai Chi

Tai Chi - Yang Style for Intermediates

March 28th to May 16th

9:00 AM to 10:00 AM

NO CLASS ON MAY 23RD

In this session, we will practice the Yang Style Traditional 37 short form (Cheng Man-Ch'ing), starting with basic stances and moving into slow-paced, detailed lessons of Section One of the form. These classes will concentrate on proper stances, correct posture, and alignment.

Spring Session 2024 - Thursdays Tai Chi

Tai Chi - Yang Style for Advanced

March 28th to May 16th

10:15 AM to 11:15 AM

NO CLASS ON MAY 23RD

We will continue training in the Traditional 37 short form during this fast-paced class. Students will review and refine challenging movements included in Sections Two and Three. Plus, we will be introducing a new complex Yang Style form. Previous training is highly recommended.
